Ibis Bali Kuta ★★★

Open after late arrival

Parking garage was very small and you have to be lucky to get a place. Breakfast with only local food.

Breakfast looked ordinary so did not try it. Went outside

Had coffee, was pretty bad, not palatable. Too milky not temperature hot, no equal

Located near airport.

Ants everywhere. Breakfast choices not foreign friendly

Lots of ants in the room,bed and bathroom. Also had trouble regulating the aircon . Not wild about the breakfast

Requested for a date change and the hotel responded promptly. We also got our connecting rooms per request.

Hotel feels slightly old

The location of the hotel and the hospitality

Reception staff, room service, restaurant, food, AC, location, water pressure.

Cleaning staff in some days do a very poor job and in some other days do a good job. For example, on bad days there is no water bottle's, the towels smell of smoke, bed if done poorly (falling from one side), forget to replenish toilet paper, shower gel, etc. Basically, they only do your bed and throw the trash. On the good days, they do all these things as per ibis international standard. First day we arrived, there were ants in the room. Access from the car park has a very low ceiling, so if you're more than 1,80m it's troublesome (poor planning in construction). Rooms are not soundproof, but not too bad. In the morning they start cleaning early and often wake us up with the noise. Even we had the "do not disturb" sign, they would often call us to ask about cleaning the room... and then not always doing a good job. Toilet exhaust didn't work in our room. Sometimes there was a cigarette smell in the room... usually on the bad days, so I suspect someone cleaning is a heavy smoker. It's still a good hotel, by Bali standards... and if we ever go back, we will stay there again.

The Aircon not working properly

Close to airport for late evening arrival. Has transport pick up at airport. Look for name on board. We were being picked up early for transport to Padang Bai. Breakfast starts at 6am and is good buffet.

The location was challenging, busy, and close to the airport.

The walls are not sealed, you can hear a lot of noise from near by rooms. It was as if they live with me in my room.
